Extended Ad Performance Metrics

The Ad performance page has been updated with two new functionalities to improve the user experience with the stats. In this guide, we’ll go over both in detail and how it affects the ad performance page as a whole.

1. Stats Glider
2. Data Extension

Stats Glider: The glider is displayed on the chart side of the page, placed directly under the W1, W2, W3 points. This functionality is set to enable a more detailed view into stats on a day-to-day basis. All you’d need to do is click on the glider and drag it to expand the date selections to months or shrink it down to viewing each day.

In the video explanation, the glider is used on the Impressions chart. To view more recent data, simply drag the glider from the left to right until the desired date period is reached. To view older data, drag the glider from the right to left until the desired date is also reached. The dragging function reduces the date period from months to weeks, a few days and to a single day, so there is full visibility on any ads needed to be tracked.

Another use of this is dragging the glider from both ends, this helps a more detailed approach on seeking for specific date period. To make the best of the glider, we suggest the “Period” filter at the top of the page is set first to the desired range to search, and then the glider to find the specific date for the metric.

Now that we’ve had a look at that, let’s see what we have with the other update.

Data Extension: This new functionality helps a user view more data at a glance when reviewing the performance metrics. It is a toggle function located at the top of the page next to the “Select by id” bar.

When disabled, you can view ads as normal, selected based on the period filter:

When the toggle is enabled, additional dates are available on the performance charts, and the stats glider can be used to access them:

These updates are now live on your site, so feel free to login and check it out. We’ll be right with you if you have any questions or encounter an issue.
